Elizabeth A. Miller, originally from Baltimore, MD lives in Brooklyn, NY and has been working as a freelance photographer since 2006, most recently for the agencies Sipa Press and Photoshot, and covered the 2010 NYC Marathon on assignment for Runner's World. She always has a camera by her side. Elizabeth has a degree in English Literature from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, OR and graduated from the Documentary Photography and Photojournalism Program at the International Center of Photography in New York City in June 2006. In 2009 her image of US Airways Flight 1549 moored at Battery Park City after landing on the Hudson River was featured in Communication Arts' Photography Annual 50.
