Elizabeth A. Abts (neé Miller) always has a camera by her side. Originally from Baltimore, MD, she lives in Brooklyn, NY with her husband and adorable but grumpy cat, and has been working as a freelance photographer since 2006, shooting on and off for various digital publications and press outlets. She is passionate about documenting her travels, and is the still photographer for her husband's artistic endeavors (a book of short stories and multiple short films). Liz is also the Digital Photo Director at A360 Media, bringing a versatile viewpoint while overseeing all photo content placed across the digital properties of Us Weekly, Life & Style, In Touch, Radar Online, Closer and J-14.

Liz has a degree in English Literature from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, OR and graduated from the Documentary Photography and Photojournalism Program at the International Center of Photography in New York City in June 2006. In 2009, Liz was one of the first photographers on the scene when US Airways Flight 1549 landed on the Hudson River. Her image of the airplane later moored at Battery Park City was featured in Communication Arts' Photography Annual 50 that year.
